Periods of Snow and Cold + Thanksgiving Week Outlook [VIDEO]

Arctic air and snow to overspread Wyoming today, very cold statewide tonight.

An Arctic cold front will continue to dig south across the state of Wyoming today.  Cloudy skies, breezy to gusty winds, and light to scattered snowfall will be found throughout the entire state today.  Expect areas of blowing snow, reduced visibility, and slick/icy/snowy roads statewide.  Snow will then gradually come to an end by the late evening/early overnight hours.  However, very cold overnight temperatures will likely keep roads slick and icy into early Saturday morning.  High temperatures (30's) have already been reached for the day.  Temperatures will only fall for the rest of the day and will remain cold (teens and 20's) and well below average.  Overnight lows will then drop into single digits for most locations.  Higher pressure will then build over the region this weekend into the start of next week.  Expect sunny to mostly sunny skies, breezy to strong winds, and mainly dry weather conditions Saturday through Tuesday.  Temperatures will remain colder than normal on Saturday and then expect closer to average temperatures Sunday until Tuesday.  Colder and more unsettled weather looks to move back into the region late on Tuesday night and will potentially stick around through Friday.
