High pressure will control the weather today and for much of New Years Day.  Expect partly to mostly sunny skies, mainly dry weather conditions, and breezy to gusty winds throughout the state of Wyoming today through the afternoon hours on New Years Day.  Temperatures will be not as cold as they have been, but it will still be colder than normal.  Daytime highs will reach the teens and 20's.  An upper-level low pressure system will move through Colorado on New Years Day and slowly approach the CO/WY state line by the evening hours.  This will cause clouds to thicken and flurries or light snow to develop across southeastern portions of the state on Thursday night.  No major travel concerns are expected during this time.  We will be in between weather systems during the day on Friday and then our next chance for snow arrives Friday night into Saturday.
