AFTER 35 YEARS OF SILENCE, A WOMAN HAS COME FORWARD ALLEGING WYOMING SECRETARY OF STATE ED MURRAY SEXUALLY HARASSED HER WHILE THE TWO WERE COWORKERS AT A CHEYENNE LAW FIRM.

TATIANA MAXWELL TOOK TO FACEBOOK MONDAY SAYING THAT MURRAY HAD WRESTLED HER DOWN TO THE CARPET IN FRONT OF THE RECEPTIONIST DESK, OPENED HIS PANTS, LIFTED UP HER BLOUSE AND UNNSUCCESSFULLY TRIED TO HAVE SEX.

MAXWELL SAID SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.

"I REALLY LIKED MY JOB AND WAS WORRIED THAT TELLING SOMEONE WOULD GET ME FIRED."

MAXWELL SAYS SHE TOLD HER CLOSE FRIENDS ABOUT THE INCIDENT, BUT IT WASN'T UNTIL RECENTLY THAT HER DAUGHTERS ENCOURAGED HER TO SPEAK UP.

SHE SAYS MURRAY -- WHO ENDED UP MARRYING ONE OF HER CLASSMATES -- SINGLED HER OUT AT HER 10 YEAR HIGH SCHOOL REUNION AND APOLOGIZED, BUT "COUCHED IT IN TERMS THAT I WAS IRRESISTIBLE AND HE COULDN’T CONTROL HIMSELF."

SHE SAYS HE DID THE SAME AT THE 20TH REUNION.

MURRAY SAYS THE CHARGE IS COMPLETELY FALSE.

IN A STATEMENT HE SAID...

"I WAS SHOCKED AND APPALLED TO READ MS. MAXWELL’S STATEMENT. THIS BASELESS CLAIM ABOUT AN ENCOUNTER FROM THIRTY-FIVE YEARS AGO IS UNEQUIVOCALLY FALSE. THERE IS NO BASIS TO THIS FALSEHOOD WHATSOEVER AND IT IS DEEPLY HURTFUL TO ME AND TO MY FAMILY, AS WELL AS TO EVERYONE I SERVE."

CASPER CITY COUNCIL HAS BEEN ASKING FOR MONTHS FOR THE CASPER AREA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMEMNT ALLIANCE TO SHOW HOW IT SPENDS THE MONEY IT RECEIVES FROM THE CITY.
BUT COUNCIL MEMBER AMANDA HUCKABAY AND OTHERS SAY CAEDA HAS NOT RESPONDED WITH TOTAL TRANSPARENCY.

SO AT A WORK SESSION TUESDAY, CAEDA'S CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER CHARLES WALSH MADE A LONG-ANTICIPATED PRESENTATION.

BUT WALSH SUPPLIED THE BRIEF SPREAD SHEET OF CAEDA'S FINANCES JUST BEFORE THE MEETING.

THAT SPREAD SHEET ONLY LISTED PUBLIC FUNDING AND NOT PRIVATE FUNDING THROUGH ITS FORWARD CASPER PROGRAM IN WHICH BUSINESSES DONATE $10,000 EACH.

AS A RESULT, A LOT OF LINE ITEMS WERE LEFT BLANK.

OF THE TOTAL FUNDING OF $560,000 INCLUDING$535,000 OF PUBLIC FUNDING, CAEDA SPENDS $318,000 FOR SALARIES, $100,00 FOR OPERATIONS, AND $79,000 FOR MARKETING.

WALSH SAID HE MAKES $132,000, BUT HE WOULD NOT SAY HOW MUCH THE OTHER THREE EMPLOYEES MAKE.

COUNCIL MEMBER DALLAS LAIRD SAID PEOPLE CAN FIND OUT HOW MUCH EACH CITY EMPLOYEE MAKES, BUT THEY CAN'T FIND OUT HOW MUCH PUBLICLY FUNDED CAEDA EMPLOYEES MAKE.

WALSH SAID MAKING THAT INFORMATION PUBLIC WOULD NOT BE HELPFUL IN CREATING WHAT HE CALLED A "HIGH PERFORMANCE TEAM."

LAIRD SAID THAT WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE, AND CITY COUNCIL UNDER THE STATE CONSTITUTION HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY TO KNOW THAT INFORMATION.

WALSH SAID HE WOULD NEED TO TALK TO HIS BOARD OF DIRECTORS WHO WOULD TELL HIM IF HE CAN SHARE THE SALARY INFORMATION.

LARAMIE, WYO. (AP) - A CONSERVATIVE STUDENT GROUP AT THE UNIVERSITY OF WYOMING HAS BEEN SUSPENDED BY THE COLLEGE'S STUDENT GOVERNMENT FROM RECEIVING STUDENT FEE FUNDING.

THE SUSPENSION IMPOSED BY THE ASSOCIATED STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF WYOMING AGAINST TURNING POINT USA OCCURRED OVER THE GROUP BRINGING IN CONSERVATIVE COMMENTATOR DENNIS PRAGER.

ASUW PRESIDENT BEN WETZEL SAYS TURNING POINT VIOLATED SEVERAL POLICIES ON HOW TO PROMOTE AND HOST AN EVENT.

TURNING POINT CHAPTER PRESIDENT JESSICA LEACH ACKNOWLEDGES THE GROUP VIOLATED A FEW POLICIES BUT MAINTAINS THEY WERE MINOR VIOLATIONS THAT DON'T WARRANT SUSPENSION.

LEACH TELLS THE LARAMIE BOOMERANG THE SUSPENSION IS POLITICALLY MOTIVATED AND HER GROUP IS APPEALING.

WETZEL DENIED ANY POLITICAL MOTIVATION.

HE SAYS TURNING POINT IS THE FIRST STUDENT GROUP TO BE PENALIZED BUT CAN STILL SEEK OTHER FUNDING DURING THE SUSPENSION.
