
74 Pounds of Meth Seized During Traffic Stop on I-80 in Wyoming
Nearly 80 pounds of drugs were seized during a traffic stop on Interstate 80 over the Fourth of July weekend, the Wyoming Highway Patrol says.
Traffic Violation Leads to Felony Drug Arrests
According to an agency Facebook post, on Saturday, July 5, a trooper in the Rock Springs area stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and obtained probable cause to search the vehicle.

The Patrol says the search revealed 74 pounds of methamphetamine, 2.5 pounds of cocaine, 1.5 pounds of fentanyl, and 1.5 pounds of heroin.
"The three occupants of the vehicle were arrested on felony drug charges," the post reads.
The Patrol says it's actively working with several agencies in reference to the case.
"Good work to all involved getting these dangerous drugs off the street," the post reads.
