The City of Cheyenne is reminding residents that the oversize parking restrictions will take effect on Sept. 12.

That's according to a post on the City of Cheyenne Facebook page.

According to the post:

-Oversized vehicles are any vehicle or trailer or combination that exceeds 25 feet in length, 9 feet in height, or 8.5 feet in width. Mirrors, lights, and other safety features on a vehicle do not contribute to this limit.
- Permits are available for on-street parking during the seasonal restriction. Permits are available from the City Clerk’s Office and are valid for 5 days. No more than two permits can be requested in any 30-day period (new this year).
- Other parking restrictions apply year round.

- Learn more and apply for permits online at www.cheyennecity.org/oversizedvehicles
