We always knew Chancey Williams would make waves in the country music world. He has earned his spurs in both the music and rodeo world, taking a well-deserved space beside fellow Wyoming natives Chris and Ned LeDoux. Chancey's music career has exploded in the last few years, taking him everywhere, from music festivals across the country to the stage of the Grand Ole Opry.

Recently, Chancey received yet another impressive accolade to add to his biography - on January 28, 2024, he was featured on the national radio show Country Top 40. CT40 is no small accomplishment. The show has aired since 2006 and features the most popular songs in country music each week. Listeners also catch a glimpse into the CT 40 Vault, where the best and brightest artists of County Music past are played.

For Chancey, the appearance on CT40 was nothing short of "unbelievable." He tuned into the show live - you can see how excited and grateful he was to appear on the countdown. Chancey told fans in the video, "This is unbelievable. Thanks so much, Country Top 40 and Fitz... This is truly unbelievable. I would have never dreamed I would have a song on the country top 40."

Chancey holds a unique distinction among country music stars. He, like fellow Wyoming natives Ned and Chris LeDoux, is one of the very few musicians who have competed in the rodeo arena and performed on the Frontier Nights stage at Cheyenne Frontier Days. Chancey now lives in Laramie, with tours taking him from coast to coast throughout the year. Find Chancey Williams' show schedule here.
