It's been a busy summer for events all across Wyoming. Just as the fair and rodeo wrap up in Casper, Frontier Days start in Cheyenne. As soon as that wraps up, here comes the Fremont County Fair, and let's not forget the Wyoming State Fair right after that.

This weekend, 07/24/26, you can catch the tail end of the Cheyenne Frontier Days in Cheyenne, featuring PRCA rodeos and an evening concert by Zach Top and Jo Dee Messina.

Some other events across the state include:

Jackson: Take a scenic ride on the Jackson Hole Aerial Tram and Gondola to enjoy breathtaking views of the Tetons and the Jackson Hole valley, or grab tickets to the Teton County Fair for local festivities.

Powell (Near Cody): Attend the Park County Fair featuring its famous Demolition Derby, or check out the nightly Cody Nite Rodeo nearby.

Thermopolis: Experience authentic ranching culture at the Thermopolis Ranch Rodeo taking place at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds.

Green River: Browse the artistic outdoor displays and the Green River Pond & Garden Tour during the Plein Air Art In The Garden event.

Laramie: Spend the day hiking or mountain biking the stunning, pine-studded trails of the Happy Jack Recreation Area.

Many more events are happening across the state; there is no way to find and name them all.

Wyoming had some much-needed showers this week. The weekend will be a bit warmer with just a slight chance of rain. The weekend weather calls for hot and mostly sunny with a slight chance of late-day showers or storms. Highs will reach around 92°F to 95°F with overnight lows near 65°F in most areas. There are heat advisories in effect as a few regions could reach 100F.
