Here are a few to get you warmed up. Start planning your road trip. These are not all the fancy places. Most are the real down-to-earth places. There is no way to name them all. Here are a few noteworthy places.

T Joe's Steakhouse & Saloon near Cheyenne.
This is a real traveler's place. Great food and you'll love that traditional bar and pool room.

Big Lost Meadery and Brewery in Gillette.
An incredible destination in Northeast Wyoming on the way to Yellowstone and Devil's Tower. Big Lost Meadery manufactures mead (honey alcohol), unique craft beers, food, and honey vinegar.

The Mint Bar in Sheridan.
The website for the bar includes the following description. “Since 1907, The Mint Bar has been the meeting place for cowboys, ranchers and dudes to tip a cold one and kick back or more often than not, kick it up a notch... and thus a foundation for countless tall tales of this legendary bar.”

Cowboy Bar & Grill in Buffalo.
Honestly, you'll love the bar, but be sure to order the food. Located in beautiful downtown Buffalo

Shoshone Rose Casino & Hotel in Lander.
Enjoy a great place, then stagger up the hallway to the room that you prebooked. Get the room first, so you don't forget it after a few drinks.

Cowboy Bar in Meeteese.
Lets just call this a traditional Wyoming bar, like the old days.

The Rustic Pine Tavern in Dubois.
The historic Rustic Pine was established in 1917. Come enjoy a cold drink and step back into the Old West to experience the world's most unique bar! We are now non-smoking and have some fantastic food options!

Shorty's Saloon in Thermopolis.
That's a heck of a name for a saloon. Sounds real western, and it is.

The Pub in Lusk, Wyoming.
This is an honest hometown pub and burger joint.

The Virginian Saloon in Jackson.
You have GOT TO SEE THIS PLACE. An iconic Jackson watering hole, guests can let loose with a craft cocktail, local beer, or hand-selected wine while enjoying entertainment and tall tales about the day’s adventures. Karaoke night is legendary. A fixture in Jackson, the Virg enjoys food service from Billy’s Burgers, allowing you to pair your drinks with tasty diner-style fare and pub favorites.
