Small Town Wyoming House Has A Strangely Famous Address
The small town of Clearmont, Wyoming (population 119) has a couple of streets with big city names.
There's New York Ave. No skyscrapers there, just a big city name.
Then there is Pennsylvania Avenue.
If you drive down Pennsylvania Avenue in Clearmount you'll see an address that might sound familiar.
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Does that ring a bell?
Maybe this house will jog your memory.
You are looking at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20500.
Honestly, the entire town is not big enough for the number to be a coincidence.
Perhaps someone on Pennsylvania Avenue in Clearmont, Wyoming thought that putting 1600 on their house might be funny.
The house next to it is 1228. The house across the street is 1601.
Clairmont Town Hall is on the same street. It's 1603.
Hmm. Maybe it is just a coincidence.
In any case, the Claremont house with the almost-famous address is UP FOR SALE!
According to a REMAX Website post.

Then again, maybe they are sick of hearing about it.
