Holiday Lull, Road Trips Rule Week 3 for Wyoming Prep Wrestling
Most Wyoming High School wrestling teams are taking a break from competition on the mat during this holiday break, but Week 3 has some action. Nearly all the wrestling will be out of state. The only in-state wrestling is a dual with Kemmerer at Pinedale on Saturday. Girls’ teams will travel to Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Utah for competitions. The boys are in Colorado, Montana, and Utah.
WYOPREPS WRESTLING WEEK 3 SCHEDULE 2025-26
Cheyenne Central heads to Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to face the Bearcats and Alliance, NE, in girls and boys’ duals. Belgrade, Montana, and Spearfish, South Dakota, host the two largest invitationals for girls, while Bozeman, Montana, has the largest field for boys. All schedules are subject to change.

The Bobcats placed 10th with 47 points. Landon Norman (132) and Trey Schneider (138) were Upton's top placers in fourth.

Powell finished in 6th place, while Sheridan tied for 7th, Cody placed 16th, and Worland tied for 29th. Allison LeBlanc from Powell took 2nd at 110, and Ashten Hubbs from Cody placed 2nd at 170, as the top finishers from Wyoming.
Buffalo Women’s Invitational at Smoky Hill HS in Aurora, CO = Burns/Pine Bluffs.
Burns/Pine Bluffs took 6th place as a team. Tatum Reher won the 120 bracket, and Nichole Sumare was the winner at 155.
MC Filly Invitational at Mountain Crest HS in Hyrum, UT = Star Valley.
The Lady Braves took 2nd behind the host team with 196 points. SV had 3 champions: Remington Aullman at 135, Cara Andrews at 140, and Brooke Schwab at 170.
Spearfish Girls Wrestling Invitational at Spearfish, SD = Newcastle, Thunder Basin, Upton.
Thunder Basin took 4th, Newcastle was 8th, and Upton placed 16th in the team standings. The best finish by a Wyoming wrestler was runner-up by Tealah Stevenson from Newcastle at 120, Rowen Ortega-Hand of Thunder Basin High School at 140, and Melany Estrada of Thunder Basin High School at 235.
West Grand Girls Invitational at West Grand HS in Kremmling, CO = Saratoga.
Saratoga placed 6th in the team standings with 47 points. Penelope Anderson at 110 and Madison Mcwain at 120 both finished in second place.

Cody finished 4th in the team standings, Powell took 29th, Lander 30th, and Worland was 37th. The top individual finish for a wrestler from Wyoming was by Cody's Alex Sitz at 175 and Anker Stewart at heavyweight. Both took 2nd.
West Grand Invitational at West Grand HS in Kremmling, CO = Saratoga.
The Panthers were 15th as a team.
