Sheridan has raced through 4A football opponents left and right this season and started their 2023 4A playoff journey with a 59-0 win over Kelly Walsh in wintry conditions on Friday night. The Broncs didn't waste much time asserting themselves as Terran Grooms scored from 4 yards out and Sheridan led for good at 7-0

Sheridan's Dane Steel may in fact be the Player of the Year in Wyoming high school football and had 3 interceptions in the game and the first one, he returned for a touchdown to bump the lead to 14-0. After that, Bronc quarterback Dominic Berrettini rambled 44 yards to the house and the lead was 21, still in the first quarter of play. Ryan Metcalf caught a touchdown pass and Berrettini rushed for his 2nd TD of the game, so Sheridan put the contest away in just a quarter of play, leading 35-0.

It was a quick game with a running clock in the 2nd half as Sheridan won their 29th game in a row, 59-0 over KW. The Broncs are 10-0 and will host Thunder Basin in the 4A semi-finals on Friday. Kelly Walsh finishes the season at 2-8.
