The second week of the 2025 Wyoming prep golf season has six events on the slate. The week starts on Monday with three, two-day invites. A couple of those have a cap on the number of teams. The final two-day events include a small one in Thermopolis and a match play in Gillette at the end of the week. On Friday, Sundance holds a one-day event.

2025 WYOPREPS GOLF SCHEDULE WEEK 2

Here is the schedule for Week 2 of the golf season. All schedules are subject to change. If you have an update, you can email david@wyopreps.com. The results will be posted below each event.

Monday, Aug. 18:

Casper Invite – at Paradise Valley G.C., 10 a.m. – Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Douglas, Glenrock, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, Sheridan, Torrington, Wheatland.

Wheatland's Jaylen Kaufman and Tate Nichols have the clubhouse leads, and the Bulldogs lead both team races. WyoPreps was not provided the team standings.

Terry Berg Invite – at Lander G. C., at 11 a.m. – Buffalo, Cody, Jackson, Kemmerer, Lander, Pinedale, Powell, Riverton, Star Valley.

Addison Bettinger of Buffalo and William Oland of Lander have the clubhouse lead after the first day. The Cody girls and Lander boys are atop the team standings.

Rawlins Inviteat Rochelle Ranch G. C., at 10 a.m. Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Evanston, Green River, Rock Springs.

Evanston's Maddie Brown and Cade Brady have the clubhouse leads. The Red Devils lead both team standings.

 

Tuesday, Aug. 19:

Casper Invite – at Casper Municipal G.C., 8 a.m. – Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Douglas, Glenrock, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, Sheridan, Torrington, Wheatland.

Maddie Brace of Douglas rallied for a 1-shot victory in the girls' division. Wheatland's Tate Nichols scored a 6-shot victory as the boys' medalist. Wheatland swept the team titles.

Terry Berg Invite – at Lander G. C., at 9 a.m. – Buffalo, Cody, Jackson, Kemmerer, Lyman, Pinedale, Powell, Riverton, Star Valley.

Addison Bettinger of Buffalo shot matching 79s and rolled to another 14-shot win. William Oland of Lander captured first place on his home course by 2 shots. The Cody girls and Lander boys finished at the top of the team standings.

Rawlins Inviteat Rochelle Ranch G. C., at 10 a.m. Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Evanston, Green River, Rock Springs.

Evanston swept the medalist honors and team crowns. Maddie Brown dominated and won by 34 strokes for first in the girls' division. Cade Brady pulled away for a 10-shot victory in the boys' division.

Thursday, Aug. 21:

Gillette Match Play – at Bell Knob G.C., 9 a.m. – Campbell County vs. Thunder Basin in a Ryder Cup-style match play

Campbell County leads Thunder Basin 5-1 after 2-man best-ball matches.

CC wins:

Ava Brown and Jerzi Aasen beat Austlynn and Lilly Angelo
Kodi Wood and Renya Osborne beat Emily Urban and Alivia Mclown
Cadence Smith and Gabby Given beat Jenna Fox and Lainey Fox
Drew Gemar and Jackson Laakso beat Gibby Williams and Brooks Watts
Cade Peterson and Jaxon Burr beat Brecken Edwards and Landen Wyatt

Bobcate Fall Invite – at Thermopolis G.C., 10 a.m. – Lovell, Ten Sleep, Thermopolis, Worland.

Ruth Needham of Thermopolis and Bolen Barthelmess of Worland have the clubhouse lead after the first 18 holes.

 

Friday, Aug. 22:

Gillette Match Play – at Bell Knob G.C., 9 a.m. – Campbell County vs. Thunder Basin in a Ryder Cup-style match play. Alternate shot and scramble finish.

Thunder Basin edged Campbell County with JV and Varsity, 17-16.

Sundance Invite – at Sundance G.C. – Big Horn, Hulett, Lusk, Moorcroft, Newcastle, Sundance, Tongue River, Wright.

Savannah Tremain of Tongue River was the girls' medalist by 7 strokes. Hudson Leimser of Lusk won the boys' title by 1 shot. The Tongue River girls and Sundance boys were the team champions.

Bobcat Invite at Thermopolis G.C., 10 a.m. – Lovell, Ten Sleep, Thermopolis, Worland.

Kelsie Griffin of Ten Sleep pulled out a 4-shot victory. Worland's Bolen Barthelmess and Trevin Shaffer of Thermopolis tied at 169 in the boys' division. Bolen won in the playoff. Thermopolis swept the team titles.
