Conference championships and state qualifiers for two of the three classifications of Wyoming High School golf are this week of the fall 2025 season. Class 3A will hold conference invites at Lovell and Torrington, respectively. Class 4A plays its two state qualifiers in Evanston and Sheridan. The top four teams and top 20 individuals qualify for the state championships. The 2A Northeast will gather in Wright for a two-day event on Friday and Saturday. The other three Class 2A schools will meet in Lander for a round of golf. The state championships are next week.

2025 WYOPREPS WEEK 5 GOLF SCHEDULE

Here is the schedule for Week 5 of the golf season. All schedules are subject to change. If you have an update, you can email david@wyopreps.com. The results will be posted below each event.

Thursday, Sept. 11:

3A West Conference Championships – at Foster Gulch G.C. in Lovell, 10 a.m. – Cody, Lander, Lovell, Lyman, Pinedale, Powell, Worland.

Keigann Watson from Lander and Jordan Shumard of Cody are tied for the girls' lead at 82. Josh Lozier of Lander leads the boys' field after a 70.

3A East Conference Championships – at Cottonwood C.C. in Torrington, 10 a.m. – Buffalo, Douglas, Glenrock, Newcastle, Rawlins, Wheatland, Torrington.

Maddie Brace of Douglas and Addison Bettinger of Buffalo share the girls' lead. Wheatland's Tate Nichols has the boys' clubhouse lead.

3A East Girls Team Scores = Wheatland 271, Douglas 302, Buffalo 302.

3A East Boys Team Scores = Wheatland 304, Torrington 344, Buffalo 345, Douglas 362, Glenrock 402, Rawlins 418, Newcastle 435.

4A West Qualifier – at Purple Sage G.C. in Evanston, noon – Evanston, Green River, Jackson, Kelly Walsh, Natrona County, Riverton, Rock Springs, Star Valley.

Madison Brown of Evanston had a 3-shot lead in the girls' division. Brady Kalinowski of Kelly Walsh leads the boys' field after a 74. The Evanston girls and KW boys lead the team standings.

4A East Qualifier – at Kendrick G.C. in Sheridan, 10 a.m. – Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Laramie, Sheridan, Thunder Basin.

Annalise Kelly of Cheyenne East leads the girls' field after an 83. Bella Beach is second with an 86. There's a tie for third between Addie Plassmeyer of Laramie, Jenna Fox from Thunder Basin, and Alivia McKown of Thunder Basin at 88. Campbell County leads the girls at 274. Jaxon Burr of Campbell County shot a 68 to lead the boys. Brooks Watts of Thunder Basin is second after a round of 74. There is a tie for third between Laramie's Carson Moniz and Cade Peterson from Campbell County at 75. Campbell County leads the team standings at 308.

Friday, Sept. 12:

Lander's Keigann Watson won the girls' division by two shots, and Josh Lozier of Lander was the boys' medalist by two shots. The Cody girls and the Lander boys' team are the champions.

Maddie Brace of Douglas pulled away for a five-shot victory in the girls' field. Tate Nichols from Wheatland won the boys' crown by 12 shots. Wheatland won both team titles.

4A West Qualifier – at Purple Sage G.C. in Evanston, 8 a.m. – Evanston, Green River, Jackson, Kelly Walsh, Natrona County, Riverton, Rock Springs, Star Valley.

Maddie Brown of Evanston finished first by five shots for the girls' medalist honor, and Brady Kalinowski from Kelly Walsh was the boys' winner by two shots. The Evanston girls and the Kelly Walsh boys were the team champs.

4A East Qualifier – at Kendrick G.C. in Sheridan, 10 a.m. – Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Laramie, Sheridan, Thunder Basin.

Thunder Basin's Jenna Fox eeked out a 1-stroke lead. Jaxon Burr from Campbell County took the boys' honor by 10 shots. The Bolts and Camels were the two first-place teams.

Girls Team Scores = Thunder Basin 545, Campbell County 553, Cheyenne Central 564, Cheyenne East 570, Sheridan 571, Laramie 580. South NTS

Boys Team Scores = Campbell County 617, Laramie 624, Sheridan 634, Cheyenne East 649, Thunder Basin 652, Cheyenne Central 703. South NTS

Wright Fall Invite – at Hay Creek G.C. in Wright, 9 a.m. – Big Horn, Hulett, Lusk, Moorcroft, Sundance, Tongue River, Upton, Wright.

Tongue River's Talitha Winfrey and Easton Lewis have the clubhouse lead. The TR girls and Wright boys lead the team standings.

Kemmerer-Ten Sleep-Thermopolis Tri – at Lander G.C.

Kemmerer's Tazlyn Wagner and Trevan Benson were the two medalists. Thermopolis swept the team crowns.

 

Saturday, Sept. 13:

Wright Fall Invite – at Hay Creek G.C. in Wright, 9 a.m. – Big Horn, Hulett, Lusk, Moorcroft, Sundance, Tongue River, Upton, Wright.

Savannah Tremain and Easton Lewis of Tongue River won the individual titles. Tongue River's girls and Wright's boys took first in the team standings.
