Glenrock’s Town Square Has New Winter Hours And Summer Plans

In the fall of 2022, there was quite a buzz in Glenrock. The Glenrock Town Square had just opened at the beginning of summer and it was going to be the first opportunity for folks to enjoy the sights, sounds and feelings of winter.

One of those cool opportunities was the new (synthetic) ice skating rink. The rink is back for year two and Glenrock has announced the open skate days and new winter hours.

The winter hours are as follows:

Monday - Thursday: 3pm - 7pm

Friday: 12pm - 8pm

Saturday & Sunday: 12pm - 6pm

Open skate days have also been announced.

Tuesday: tot time (3-5 year olds)

Wednesday: Grades K-3

Thursday: Grades 4-8

Friday: Family Day & Teen night starts at 5

Sunday: Family Day

Skate rentals are free during open skate.

There's no doubt that Glenrock has welcomed the new town square with open arms. The summer was extremely busy with activities like movie nights, live music, the splash pad, BBQ parties and other community events.

The Glenrock community is so excited for the summer of 2024, that they've already announced plans for Yoga at the Square and a partial schedule for the 2024 Rock The Glen Summer Concert Series.

The concert series will kick off in June and run Friday nights through August. Here's the schedule so far.
