If you're a driver in Wyoming, there are essential things you need to know before you get behind the wheel. For instance, you need to know how to use your turn signal, how your headlights work, and the difference between the gas and brake pedal.

I've been driving (legally) for over 30 years and have had my fair share of close calls. I've also seen my fair share of knuckleheads that have no business being behind the wheel of a power-wheel car as they do an actual automobile.

Are Hand Signals Really That Important For Wyoming Motorists?

We've had decent weather lately, and several motorcycle riders are taking advantage of it. Most of the time, the diehard riders dare to ride around on two wheels when the temperature is barely above 40.

With that being said, since last fall, when most riders put their bikes to bed for a long winter's nap, there are new drivers on the road. I think it's a good time to refresh everyone's memory of what you should be looking for when motorcycles are on the road.

Even though most bikes have turn signals, there are still hand signals you need to know whether you're riding a motorcycle, following or passing a bike in an automobile, or just curious about what the dudes on the motorcycles are doing with their hands.

Of course, if you see this hand signal, it's probably YOU who better be careful and pay attention to what you're doing.
