Casper Boat Club’s Poker Run At Alcova Is Supporting HD Outdoors

H.D. Outdoors has become a busy organization over the last few years, and they're not slowing down. In fact, they're getting busier every year by adding fundraising events and outings for veterans.

If you're not familiar, H.D. Outdoors (the H stands for Honor, and the D stands for Duty) is a veterans organization that was created to offer vets exclusive opportunities for fully funded hunts, fishing trips, and other outdoor adventures with other veterans so they can spend time and get to know others who have gone through some of the same life experiences.

To offer veterans fully funded experiences, they fundraise throughout the year to help cover expenses. You've heard of and likely been a part of a couple of their larger event like 'Clays for the Brave' and the 'Central Wyoming Machine Gun and Cannon Shoot,' already; now they're teaming up with the Casper Boat Club for the club's annual Boat Poker Run, which will happen Friday, July 31, and Saturday, August 1st at Alcova Reservoir.

The Poker Run brings boaters, supporters, sponsors, and the community together at Alcova Lake for a weekend supporting H.D. Outdoors Wyoming and Casper Boat Club. The event includes registration happy hour, boat viewing and judging, the poker run, lunch, dinner, awards, donor recognition, live auction, and music.

If you're thinking that because you don't have a boat, you can't be involved, good news. There are multiple ticket package levels and sponsorship packages to choose from, depending on whether you're going alone, with a guest, or in your boat.
