In the 1980s, after Little House on the Prairie ended, Michael Landon starred alongside his Little House co-star Victor French in the show Highway To Heaven.

Until recently, that was the only Highway to Heaven I knew of, but Wyoming had to prove me wrong. There's a stretch of eastbound I-80 between mile markers 6 and 28 where an optical illusion makes it seem like the highway is leading to the heavens.

A quick Google search will pop up many videos, social media posts, reports, and arguments about the illusion.

For those wondering, the road doesn't disappear into the heavens. However, if you consider heaven, then I guess it is in the heaven state; it just doesn't disappear.

Many of the videos you'll see on YouTube come from truckers. Video vlogging is becoming popular as technology has enhanced hands-free devices, and many truckers are looking for ways to pass the time while driving across the country.

It's interesting to hear truckers talk about their travels and experiences while watching where they head.

One of the YouTube pages I found interesting was Elizabeth (Ellie) O'Daire. According to her page, for four years, she hauled food from coast to coast, and while on the road, she blogged as much as she could. One of her most viewed vlogs was Wyoming's Highway to Heaven. Her original video got over 54,000 views a few years ago.

Since the first video was so popular, she decided to make another Highway to Heaven video, which also garnered lots of views.

It's just another cool feature the Cowboy State has to offer travelers.
