The Friends of the Natrona County Library organization want to make clear their support of a new library proposal that may eventually include moving the facility into the Old Yellowstone District.

A story earlier this week, from K2 Radio,  quoting a "Former" Friends of the Library board member opposed to the move was not representative of the group.

"We're just excited about having a bigger space for our community, because that's really our mission, to support the library, to support the community."

Melanie Booth, represents Friends of the Library and she's also a member of the Citizen-Led Task Force. Booth says the 'Friends Group' sees first hand the need for an expanded location and she says, whatever the eventual findings of the task force, they'll support that decision.

The public is invited to attend the next Task Force meeting, April 25th, 6:30pm in the Library's Crawford room.
