Casper Fire-EMS Called To Small Fire Friday

Casper Fire-EMS and Casper Police ended their Friday afternoon at an empty industrial building at 943 Bryan Stock Trail, across from the Driver's License Office.

A small fire had been reported inside the building. When fire fighters arrived, they found it had been started in the building by two homeless men trying to keep warm in the cooler weather.

The fire was extinguished quickly and no extensive damage was reported.

The two men were cooperative and taken to CPD headquarters where they were interviewed.

They were released and the case given to the District Attorney's office.
