Competition at the Third Annual Cowboy Tough Adventure Week has wrapped up as nearly 100 adventurists spent the weekend hiking, biking, water paddling and climbing their way through the Big Horn Mountains, between Buffalo and Casper.

The race takes three and one-half days to complete and participants had no idea before-hand on what the route was.

There are various check-points that all two and four-person teams must reach along the way and at each check-point, teams have to complete a challenge, aside from the race itself.

And it all ended this afternoon at Crossroads Park in Casper, as the last leg ended with dog-tired entrants paddling down the North Platte River from the pump house to the park.

There were winners in every class, but the overall team champs were Nordic Adventure Racing in third, the Yoga Slackers second, and the winner overall, Technu Adventure.

The top three teams got checks from Cameco, the sponsor, for $2000,$3000 and $5000 respectively. More photos below...
