LARAMIE -- Noah Reynolds' name is in the NCAA Transfer Portal.

He is the fourth Wyoming player to announce his intent to transfer, joining Ethan Anderson, Jake Kyman and Max Agbonkpolo, who left the program on Feb. 7.

Reynolds, who entered the portal Monday, has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Wyoming's aggressive sophomore guard averaged 14.5 points per game this season before being "shut down" for the year in early February after suffering his third concussion over the previous six months. Reynolds missed the final nine games of the 2022-23 campaign, including the Cowboys' 87-76 loss to New Mexico in the quarter-finals of last week's Mountain West Tournament.

Reynolds became Wyoming's top offensive weapon with the absence of preseason Player of the Year, Graham Ike. During a four-game stretch in December, the Illinois product netted more than 20 points, including a career-high 30-point outburst in a win over visiting Texas A&M-Commerce.

He was named the Mountain West Player of the Week.

Wyoming's third-year head coach Jeff Linder called Reynolds a "live-it guy" after he was sidelined with his latest head injury, referring to his love and passion for the game of basketball.

"Noah is a guy that doesn't come from much," Linder said. "He's had to earn everything he's gotten. (He's) a guy that didn't have one single Division-I offer. Those are the types of guys I can coach. Those guys have a chip on their shoulder, they've got some fight in them and they love to play."

The 6-foot-3, 195-pound guard appeared in 23 games during his true freshman season in Laramie, averaging under three points per outing. His best outing came on the road where he sank three triples at San Jose State en route to a 14-point night.

Reynolds did not leave the bench in the Cowboys' First Four appearance against Indiana in the 2022 NCAA Tournament.

"I had to look at myself in the mirror and understand why maybe I wasn't called upon in that situation," he said back in October. "I took that personally. I took that to heart."

Reynolds was named an All-State selection after helping lead Notre Dame High School to a 14-1 record during his senior year. Despite averaging more than 15 points a night and shooting better than 61% from the field, college scouts never came calling. As a junior, he was named Journal Star Large-School Boys Basketball Player of the Year leading his team to a No. 1 ranking in Class 3A with a 30-1 record. During his junior season, Reynolds averaged 16.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.

Wyoming now has six available scholarships after Hunter Maldonado and Hunter Thompson exhausted their eligibility. The team also lost its lone signee in the 2023-24 class, California guard Makaiah Williams.

Monday signaled the opening of a 60-day transfer portal window.
