Wyoming, Albany County, and Laramie law enforcement agencies arrested 11 people for driving under the influence during their "Border War" impaired driving operation.

The agencies report that they also arrested eight individuals for controlled substances Saturday. The agencies stopped people on Interstate 80, Interstate 25 and U.S. Highway 287 during the operation. The enforcement had 198 traffic stops, which yielded 100 warnings, four seat belt violations, 47 speeding tickets and 49 other citations, according to a WYDOT Press release.

In addition to the impaired driving arrests and citations, WYDOT reports there were 12 crashes between Cheyenne and Laramie contributed to weather. There were no reported fatalities during this period.

Wyoming, Colorado, Albany County, Laramie County and Larimer County all worked together as part of the Border war enforcement.
