Seventeen years ago, the Wyoming Chapter of the Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club along with the Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club put together a party and a chance to win a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The Party at the Parkway Plaza has grown over the years now selling 500 tickets and giving away three Harleys. This years event sold out in 27 minutes back in August, but there is one more chance to be a part of the fun. There is one ticket for Saturdays event up for auction at the Friday night pre-party.

Because alot of the participants came in to Casper for the weekend of the Biker Ball, the party has grown to the include the Friday night prior to the event as well. This year, as in years past, Friday nights event is a fundraiser with the money raised going to benefit the Disabled American Veterans as well as a portion of the proceeds going to help a local family whose 11 year old daughter suffered burns on 36% of her body and continues to heal and rehab in Salt Lake City. See Nikkita Sells story here.

Friday nights fun is open to all who would like to come out. The doors open at 6 PM, The band Seven Sundays takes to the stage at 7 PM, the Blues Brothers make a special appearance at 8 PM and the auction at 9.

Vietnam Vet Brothers, Bull and Badger, joined us this morning to talk about the weekend.
