UW Names Interim Dean of UW College of Law
LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Jacquelyn Bridgeman has been appointed interim dean of the University of Wyoming College of Law. Bridgeman has served as an associate dean of the UW law school since 2010. She is a graduate of Laramie High School, Stanford University and the University of Chicago Law School.
Stephen Easton resigned as dean the College of Law this week over President Bob Sternberg's decision to create a task force to look at whether the school needed more emphasis on oil and gas law. A permanent replacement is being sought.
Bridgeman has been a member of the UW College of Law faculty since 2002. She became associate dean of academic affairs in October 2010 and was named associate dean of program development and Kepler Professor of Law this past August.
