Robert Wnuk Sentenced For Casper Mtn. Cabin Break-Ins

Townsend Justice Center, Casper
Trevor T. Trujillo, Townsquare Media

A Casper teen might be able to avoid fulfilling his prison sentence, after admitting to a string of cabin break-ins on Casper Mountain.

Robert Wnuk was sentenced to four-to-six years in prison with a boot camp recommendation, after pleading guilty to four counts of burglary and six counts of property destruction.

The case stems from a Natrona County Sheriff’s Office investigation, into a number of home and cabin break-ins on Casper Mountain, in summer of 2012.

If Wnuk completes boot camp, the court could call him back in for a sentence review.

Three co-defendants have pleaded guilty to similar charges connected to the case, and have already been sentenced.
