Are you a fan of the TV show ‘Longmire‘?

Some sad news to report today, A&E has cancelled the series about Wyoming Sheriff Walt Longmire after three seasons due to sagging ratings.

‘Longmire‘ has a lot of fans in the Cowboy State since the series is based in Wyoming, apparently not enough though. The A&E TV Network showed the western drama’s ratings dropped entering it’s third season, from 4.31 million total viewers to 3.86 million for the season’s premieres.

Actor Robert Taylor plays the lead character Wyoming Sheriff Walt Longmire, while Katee Sackhoff portrays sheriff’s deputy Vic Moretti. Lou Diamond Phillips is also part of the cast, playing Walt’s best friend Henry Standing Bear.

The studio behind the series, Warner Horizon Television, is looking for another network to possibly pick-up the popular show. So there still may be hope for all you ‘Longmire’ fans.
