A Casper man has had his bond raised after not showing up to his trial earlier this week.

Kino Beman is back in jail on $100,000 bond.

He has pleaded not guilty to one charge of aggravated assault, and was initially free on bond, but never appeared when his trial was scheduled to begin back on Tuesday, November 13th.

Beman claimed that he was mis-informed by his attorney, and had difficulty getting ahold of him as well.

Casper police say in May, Beman walked in on Tyler Johnson and a female making out, when Beman then attacked Johnson, cutting him with a knife.

Beman admitted that at first he lied to police about the events of that night, then said he was trying to get the knife away from the female, and that she attacked Johnson.

Beman has also been convicted on charges of burglary, reckless endangerment and false impersonation.
