The Wyoming Cowboys made a school and Arena-Auditorium record 20 three-pointers in route to an 84-65 victory over the Utah State Aggies Saturday in Laramie.

Seven different Cowboys made a three. Jason McManamen set a new career-high with six. Josh Adams added five. Alexander Aka Gorski made three, Hayden Dalton and Jeremy Lieberman hit two apiece, while Alan Herndon and Trey Washington III each added one.

Wyoming (12-13, 5-7) broke the game open with a 21-3 spurt at the start of the second half. Five different Pokes knocked down a trey during the run. They also held Utah State to one field goal over the first 9 minutes.

McManamen led four in double figures with 20 points. Adams dropped in 19 points and handed out seven assists. Both Herndon and Lieberman scored 12 points. Herndon also grabbed seven rebounds.

The Cowboys shot 50 percent (28-56) from the field. They finished 20-of-38, 52.6 percent, from beyond the arc. UW also held a 34-27 edge on the glass and dished out 18 assists.

Utah State (11-11, 3-8) lost their fifth straight game. They shot 48 percent from the floor, but only 37 percent in the second half. Jalen Moore led the Aggies with 17 points.

The Pokes came out firing from deep. They knocked down ten 3-pointers in the first half. The Aggies hung tough thanks to 60 percent shooting from the field. The Cowboys led by one, 38-37, at half.

Wyoming is the last team in the conference to have a bye on their schedule, and it comes during the middle of next week. They return to the court with a game on Saturday, February 13 at Boise State. Tip-off is at 2 p.m.
