BRAAAAAIIIINNNNSSS. CHAAARRRRIIITTTYYYY. Those are the two things that Zombies love most, I’m pretty sure. So you can imagine their delight when they heard that there will be a Zombie 5k run for charity in Casper on Saturday, September 8th.
As facts continue to fly in about the life of 24-year-old Dark Knight Shooter James Holmes, people are taking to their Facebook pages to find out all they can about the alleged mass murderer. Unfortunately, those who share the same name as Holmes are being accosted and accused via their FB pages.
Now that the CWFR has come and gone, we thought it would behoove us to “take to the streets” and find out what YOU thought of the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo. Here’s what we learned: People love The Power, adults are more shy than kids, and bulls are A-holes. Don’t believe us? Check out these vids and let us know what YOU loved about the CWFR.
Mmm. Fair food is my absolute favorite kind of food in the world. I spent the entire week at the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo, and ate an inordinate amount of fair food. I ate burgers, and hot dogs, and corn dogs, and bbq, and funnel cake, and curly fries and ice cream. It was the greatest week of my life. Here are some pictures.
All my life, I’ve wanted to be a carnival worker (carnie, for short). I’m not exactly sure why- maybe it’s the art of the sell, or the allure of taking people’s money because they’re too stupid to stop playing. Maybe I just like cat-calling people. Whatever the reason, I’ve always wanted to be one. That will never happen, so I resigned myself to just meeting a few of them at this year’s Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo.
It’s been a wild ride at the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo, and we totally intended for that pun. This is because the Rodeo part of the CWFR has been a roller coaster (or a bull ride?) of emotions. There were winners, losers, dreams chases, dreams realized, and dreams crushed as men and women put i all on the line for their shot at glory. Here are just a few photos from the CWFR Finals.
It’s been a heckuva week for the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo. All sorts of people came out to ride rides, eat good (but not good for you) food, throw up on their friends, watch the rodeo and more. Here are some pics from the final night of the CWFR.
When Chelsea Strama came to Casper with her company for the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo, she had no idea what local beauty awaited her. As she saw the amazing sites that our town had to offer, she knew that she needed to record some of it for prosperity…and to show highlights during the rodeo itself!
The Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo is in full swing, so we thought we would take this opportunity to tell you what our 5 favorite things about the fair are. These options were put together by a steady stream of scientists who spent years calculating the fun ratio of each activity…actually, we just went to the fair one night and came up with them. So with that, here is Our Top 5 Best Parts of the CWFR.
