As a kid in Casper Wyoming, our summers revolved around two things- the pool and the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo. So imagine my delight when, one summer when I was 13 years old, I was able to combine the two with my other favorite thing ever- a girl. This is the story of that day.

Whether its a grand stage, or even a dingy bingo hall, it all plays an important role in the concert itself. Personally, I’ve always been a big fan of outdoor concerts. This is why Fireworks Festival 2012 is one of my favorite events of the year.

As June winded down and July approached, Casper natives were worried that because of the different fires plaguing the Rocky Mountain region, the Fireworks Festival 2012 would be cancelled. This didn’t prove to be the case however, thanks to heavy planning and a wide-array of highly-trained professionals manning the fireworks.
