Anthony Pollreisz

I’ve been doing radio in some way since the age of 16, first cutting my teeth in my hometown of Soldotna, Alaska, doing play-by-play for high school hockey. From there, I gravitated toward radio news and sports coverage, doing civic reporting for a National Public Radio station in East Lansing, Mich., then doing news, sports and on-air work for a number of stations in Havre, Mont. Now, I'm a part of Wyoming's biggest and best radio news team. I’m a very proud alumnus of Michigan State University, where I studied broadcast journalism. At MSU, I did news updates for the campus radio station. I also dabbled in TV, producing the EMMY Award-winning on-campus news program. I also did hockey play-by-play and filmed athletics press conferences for the Big Ten Network and its website. For my efforts, I picked up a few awards, most notably from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Michigan Association of Broadcasters.

State Now Accepting Energy Assistance Program Applications

It’s winter in Wyoming, and, with temperatures falling throughout the state, Wyoming residents can expect to see their heating bills rise in the coming months.
