Art Museum Closes For Day Of Street Repair [AUDIO]

The Nicolaysen Art Museum and Discovery Center in Casper will be closed Thursday. Nic Communications Director Clay Anthony says the construction around the museum will reach a point where they need to interrupt water service.

Utility shutdown:

"The construction near-by, the road construction and the building construction, they're going to be needing to turn off the water in the area for most of the day, the way I understand it, so we decided that, nope, won't be able to enjoy any of the galleries or exhibits on Thursday, unfortunately."

Mr. Anthony says there will be some limited staff during the shutdown and they hope to open to patrons on Friday, if all goes well.  If you have any questions, you can call the Nic at 235-5247.
