The Wyoming Aging and Disability Resource Center is a year old. The Center began providing resource information to older adults and those with disabilities last March.

Program Manager Debbie Walter says it's a, mostly virtual, one-stop-shop and she says they're busy.

"We are extremely busy over this last year since they opened their doors we have received 568 un-duplicated calls."

Walter says their conservative estimate is they've saved the state over a million dollars in Medicaid and other program costs.

They have one walk-in office is in Greenriver. However staff are available on line and on the phone.

The WyADRC toll-free number, 1-877-435-7851, puts any Wyoming caller in touch with professional and knowledgeable staff members who can direct people to resources in their community.

The companion WyADRC website is available online at www.wyomingadrc.org.
