CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming Treasurer Joe Meyer will lie in state at the Wyoming State Capitol in Cheyenne on Thursday.

Meyer died earlier this month at age 71. He also served as Wyoming secretary of state and state attorney general.

Gov. Matt Mead will lay a wreath in Meyer's honor at a ceremony that will start at 10:30 a.m. Mead and other officials will present remarks.

Meyer will lie in state from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. His funeral is scheduled for Friday in Cheyenne.
