CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming's snowpack so far this winter remains below average.

The Natural Resources Conservation Service reports that as of Feb. 1 the snowpack across Wyoming is at 93 percent of average.

Northwest Wyoming has the highest amounts at 110 percent of average, but the northwest is about 92 percent, the southeast about 72 percent and the southwest about 79 percent.

As a result, the spring and summer runoff currently is forecast to be well below average across the state at about 83 percent of average.
