Wyoming Gas Prices Remain Flat, Likely to Trend Upward
The average price for a gallon of gas in Wyoming held steady at $3.57 last week.
That’s what petroleum analysts with GasBuddy.com say after surveying nearly 500 gas stations throughout the state.
Patrick DeHaan, who’s with GasBuddy.com, says, though average gas prices were flat last week, consumers should brace for more pain at the pump.
“The national average has actually decreased five-tenths of a penny in the last week,” DeHaan said. “But, I expect prices to tick upward not only in Wyoming, but the national average will likely move higher as well, as crude oil prices break $100 a barrel to their highest prices in over a year.”
Regular unleaded is selling for as little as $3.26 per gallon in Casper, $3.35 per gallon in Cheyenne and $3.33 per gallon in Laramie.
The national average is $3.49 per gallon.
