Update--Cheyenne Police spokesman Officer Dan Long has identified the alleged victim in the theft of roughly $700, 000 as Lelon L. Freeman. Linda Freeman was Lelon  Freeman's Daughter-in-law.

Cheyenne Police have arrested a 50 year old former Cheyenne resident for stealing $700K from her father in law over four years, according to Cheyenne Police spokesman Officer Dan Long.

Linda Freeman currently lives in Laramie. Long says she was arrested on Wednesday, March 25th and booked into the Laramie County Detention Center. Freeman is accused of Felony Exploitation of a Vulnerable Adult.

Long says investigators believe she stole nearly $700,000 from her father in law's accounts over a four year period before and after his death ( a period between 2004 and 2007).

She allegedly moved the money into her own accounts and used it to buy property and other assets.

Long says $91,000 of that was withdrawn after her father in law's death and should have been part of his estate.

Exploitation of a Vulnerable Adult is punishable by up to 10 years in prison under Wyoming law.
