Fire investigators say they don't know what caused a fire that destroyed a garage on Webb Creek Road last week.

The fire happened in the early morning hours of Monday, March 21st.  Natrona County Fire Chief Kevin Finn says, "Two people were in the house when the fire started and they exited the structure. Unfortunately a dog was left behind and it perished. There were also three vehicles involved in the fire. Two of them inside the garage one of them was right up against the garage. All three vehicles were a total loss."

Finn says there was also smoke damage to the main part of the house. Finn says the investigation was turned over to Casper Fire-Ems. Fire Prevention Officer, Justin Smith says investigators know that the fire began in one corner of the garage, but they were unable to determine its cause.
