LARAMIE, Wyo. — University of Wyoming students will have an opportunity to dine with former Soviet Union President Mikhail Gorbachev.

Gorbachev will be in Laramie Oct. 14 for a talk at the school.

University of Wyoming political science professor Jim King says retired U.S. Sen. Alan Simpson will pose 10 questions to Gorbachev. Five of the questions will be selected from questions submitted by University of Wyoming students.

King says the students whose questions are chosen will be invited to have dinner with Gorbachev.

King says Gorbechev's talk is part of the university's continuing emphasis on internationalization.
