WHEATLAND, Wyo. (AP) — A tractor trailer hauling a tank full of ethanol collided head on with a pickup truck in Platte County, killing both drivers.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says the accident occurred about 7:45 p.m. Saturday on U.S. 26, about 12 miles north of Wheatland.

The patrol identified the victims as 62-year-old Gary Johnson, of Evansville, and 31-year-old Brandi N. Taylor, of Casper.

The patrol says Taylor's pickup crossed into the path of the truck driven by Johnson, whose truck and trailer rolled and caught fire.

The 7,900 gallons of ethanol did not catch fire but some spilled.
