All Wyomingites, especially landowners, are again being asked to assist in the management of the state’s sage grouse populations this summer by immediately reporting dead sage grouse to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department so they can be tested for West Nile Virus

Partnerships like that between the Natural Resources Conservation Service and the U.S Fish and Wildlife service within the Sage Grouse Initiative are designed to create what is known as regulatory certainty with participating landowners and producers in efforts to protect this threatened western bird species
