Cheyenne Woman Killed In Crash On I-80
A 43 year old Cheyenne woman was killed in a single vehicle crash Wednesday morning on I-80 about 12 miles east of Laramie in Albany County.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol says the dtiver, 49 year old Cheyenne resident James Evans, was westbound on I-80 in the right lane. Black ice conditions exsisted on the roadway and Evans lost control of the vehicle as it started to rotate towards the right shoulder. Evans steered to the left and over corrected the steering back to the right causing the vehicle to rotate clockwise and go into a broadside slide. The truck left the roadway on the right side going into the borrow ditch.
Rollover Crash Kills Two Near Laramie
Two Nebraska children were killed in a one-vehicle rollover Thursday on Interstate 80 on the east side of Laramie, according to Wyoming Highway Patrol spokesman Sgt. Steve Townsend.
He says the crash began shortly after 9:30am when a 2003 Ford F-150 pickup driven by 23 year old Edgar Carmona failed to negotiate a right hand curve in the eastbound lane of the interstate
