Senator John Barrasso recently spoke outside of the Senate chambers to address rising gasoline prices, inflation, and more. As always, the Wyoming Senator made no bones about who he believes to be at fault for these high prices.
As we are heading into the first weekend in March, gas prices are on the uptick, but not nearly as much as what we're seeing in other spots around the country, as issues continue to escalate overseas. The national average gas price is up over a full quarter from where it was last week, but Wyoming's increase is a little over half that.
Senator Cynthia Lummis has released a statement regarding the invasion of Ukraine by Russia. In the statement, Lummis used the attack as a segue to urge President Biden to "unleash America's energy production."
Barrasso has continually pointed the finger of blame at President Biden for higher prices on things like gasoline, holiday meals, and more. Now, Barrasso is saying that President Biden has driven inflation to a 40-year high.
