Casper Crime Stoppers: Crime of the Week 7-2-14

On Friday, June 27th between 9:00am and Noon, someone committed smash and grab auto burglaries in the parking lot of the Casper Recreation Center. Vehicle windows were broken out and valuable items stolen from inside the vehicles.

Casper Crime Stoppers: Crime of the Week 6-18-14

On Sunday, June 8th, 2014 at about 4:30pm, a grey Ford pickup with tinted lamp covers and black wheels drove off of F Street and through a fence at 2000 E. F Street. The driver was possibly a white male with a beard. The driver fled the scene after striking some vehicles and equipment causing thousands of dollar in damages.

Casper Crime Stoppers: Crime of the Week 6-11-14

On Sunday morning (June 8th, 2014) at about 4:00am, there was a report of shots fired near the intersection of 15th and McKinley. Multiple rounds struck the convenience store at the intersection. Police are asking for anyone with information about this crime to come forward.

During the last few weeks, there have been multiple thefts of copper wire in the Casper area. Welding leads were stolen off of welding trucks and wiring supplies stolen out of construction trucks. The thefts are believed to be related.

During the late night hours of May 21st into the early morning hours of May 22nd, multiple thefts of welding supplies occurred in the area. Welding leads were stolen off of welding trucks in various parts of Casper. The thefts are believed to be related.

Casper Crime Stoppers: Crime of the Week 3-12-14

On March 3rd, at about 7:00 a.m., or shortly before, an unknown vehicle committed a hit and run crash near the Natrona County Fairgrounds. The suspect vehicle was traveling east bound on Fairsdie Road and turned south onto Fairgrounds Road. The vehicle took the turn too sharp and destroyed a decorative street lamp near the intersection before fleeing the area in an unknown direction.
