Wyoming Congresswoman and House GOP Conference Chair Liz Cheney joined her colleagues at a press event to call on President Biden to secure the southern border.
During her address, Cheney criticized the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 Relief Bill, and also offered her opinion on the Biden Administration’s open borders policies.
A staff aide introduced the measure during a short pro forma session of the House in which Rep. Don Beyer, D-Va., presided over an almost empty chamber.
Democrats carried more leverage into the talks after besting Trump on the 35-day shutdown but showed flexibility in hopes of winning Trump's signature.
