Happy with your Internet connection? Are your down load times fast enough for your needs?

Wyoming residents are being asked to to help identify broadband gaps around the state.

LinkWYOMING is a statewide initiative funded through a 2009 federal grant to map broadband access and Melinda Johnson, with the Wyoming Business Council, is project specialist on a survey that's gone out to gather input from business and the general public on Internet speeds.

"Hopefully this will be an informational tool that broadband providers can use to judge whether or not they should be extended their services to those areas."

Johnson says data from the survey will only be shared with the LinkWYOMING regional planning teams and the statewide broadband coordinator.

She says the survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and the deadline for submitting is Feb. 28th.
