A Casper man has admitted to have inappropriate pictures of children on his computer.

Forty-two year old Sonny Shepperson has pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography.

Agents with the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation's Internet Crimes Against Children unit say in January 2013, they became aware of a computer in Casper that had been downloading child pornography and traced it back to Shepperson's computer.

Through a search, agents found more than 60 files of child pornography on a computer hard drive and flash drive.

As part of a plea deal, prosecutors will seek a suspended prison sentence and probation time, which will be determined at a later date.

Shepperson is free on $2,500 bond.
