Smokefree Natrona County Upset With Smoking Ban Revisit

Officials with Smokefree Natrona County say they’re upset with Casper City Council’s recent decision to revisit the city’s controversial public indoor smoking ban.

Many business owners say they’ve been frustrated by the ban since it went into effect last September.

Smokefree Natrona County representative Anna Edwards says she’s disheartened by the decision.

“There’s a lot of disappointment,” Edwards said. “But, we’re still here, and we’re still strong. We’ll be fighting this every step of the way.”

Edwards says Smokefree Natrona County will provide the new council with information regarding the consequences of repealing the ban.

Council will hold its regular session on Tuesday.
