Two women are arrested over the weekend for attempting to steal thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from multiple stores.

On Saturday afternoon, police responded to a shoplifting call at the Target store located in the Eastridge Mall.

A loss prevention associate for the store advised dispatch that he had observed two females attempting to leave the store with one-hundred and twenty-three stolen items.

Thirty-one-year-old Andrea Dees and thirty-four-year-old Angela Dees are accused of shoplifting over fifteen hundred dollars worth of merchandise. When officers arrived on scene, they recognized Angela as being trespassed from Target for life for trying to steal four-hundred dollars worth of goods a couple of weeks previous. They also discovered that Andrea had a confirmed warrant out of Platte County.

Knowing Angela's previous shoplifting tactics, officers searched her vehicle as she would often shoplift from multiple stores in the same day.

Police found ninety-eight other stolen items from JC Penny's totaling nearly two-thousand dollars.

Both women were arrested and transported to the Natrona County Detention Center with multiple grand larceny and conspiracy to commit charges along with one count of trespassing each.
