The Natrona County Sheriff’s Office has called off the search for a man, Levi Smith, reported last seen a week ago, according to a news release.

"Our investigation has revealed Mr. Smith has been spotted at businesses in Casper as recently as yesterday, August 17, 2014," according to the news release. "Mr. Smith was seen on video by Investigator David Hulshizer pawning an item at a local pawn shop."

Last week, Sgt. Michael Steinberg said 32-year-old Levi Smith was last seen at the Green Acres Corn Maze just north of the Casper-Natrona County International Airport.

The Sheriff's Office expressed its gratitude to the public for its concern, the news release said. "We would like to thank all of you for assisting us in getting the word out to the public that we were looking for Levi."
